the euro -good idea bad idea?

not quite my subject but i thought i would start everyone off .

so what do you think was the euro a good idea?

or do you think ,like me it has caused alot more problems in the world.

personally i think each country is better off with a currancy of there own .

the idea of a group having a greater combined buying power is sound but what we don't need is other people setting laws for our country...

Bad idea ; We Dutch used to have a rockhard currency but the switch to the Euro really devaluated our assets;
